About Us
World Airwaves is headquartered in Winchester, Virginia. First formed as a division of Visual Link Telecommunications in 2003 and focused on the development of high-speed wireless products and technology.
World Airwaves has many years of experience in designing nationwide networks throughout the world, incorporating good engineering practices, and working with advanced digital radio technology in the deployment of unlicensed frequency bands. Our initial systems will operate on the 2.4 GHz spectrum, but the design allows use of any of the ISM or U-NII or any other frequencies as technologies advance.
